Hello gorgeous!
I believe that wellness and wholeness are so much more than just what goes into our mouths. When we understand the effects of healthy relationships, work satisfaction, financial pressure, physical activity, and emotional fulfillment on our physical and mental wellbeing, we can identify where our health is out of balance and why we seek solace in food.
Having spent over 20 years living abroad and traveling the world, servicing celebrities and high-end clientele on private yachts and estates, I have prepared countless meals, menus, and nutritional guidelines in cross-cultural settings of exceptional quality standards. Not only am I a health coach and professional chef, but my passion for holistic health stems from my own experience with emotional eating.
I have struggled with my weight for much of my life, life’s stresses often exacerbated my dependence on food for emotional support. In my journey to health, I started to value food as a secondary source of wellness. I overcame limiting beliefs and embraced other areas of life that truly bring me to full health, vitality, and happiness.
During my thirties, my life focus changed to raising my two boys, who are only a year apart. With an incredible mother and grandmother who have always inspired me to cook natural whole foods, I am able to pass on this gift in caring for my family. Adopting a plant-based diet has been highly beneficial for a family member’s autism spectrum disorder. As I started to cook more specifically with their needs in mind, I developed a small business supplying gluten-free, dairy-free, and freshly made health products to those facing similar challenges.
Living beside a lake in South Florida with my wonderful husband and boys, I love to explore local restaurants, weekends away at the beach and cooking with my son in the kitchen. I love the outdoors, swimming, traveling and being active. I have a passion for interior design and you’ll always find bunches of fresh flowers in my home. Most of all I love instilling a love for healthful cooking in my boys.
